polyester fabric is recommended. (The term “tone on tone” refers to a fabric having more than one value of the same color.)
** Examples of decorative pillows include: bolster pillow, rectangular or square pillow, boudoir pillow and Euro pillow. Pillow shams qualify, but two are required if they are sleeping pillow size and must be in
addition to the standard sleeping pillow requirement.
*** MATELASSE ***
The French word, matelassé means “quilted,” “padded,” or “cushioned,” and in usage with fabric, refers to hand quilted textiles. It is meant to mimic the style of hand-stitched Marseilles
type quilts made in Provence, France. Matelassé fabric can be either hand-stitched to create the decorative features of the fabric, or woven on a jacquard loom for the appearance of quilting. Matelassé fabric
is a heavy, thick textile that appears to be padded, but actually has no padding within the fabric.
NOTES:
• All beds require a bed skirt or foundation cover
• Blankets may not be used as a throw or bed scarf
• Other bedding ensembles may be considered for approval. Bedding proposals must be submitted to the Design Department for review and approval prior to purchase.
