ATTENTION
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
Thisappliancemustbegrounded.Intheeventofanelectricalshort
circuit,groundingreducesthe riskd electricalshockby providing
anescapewirefortheelectricalcurrent.Thisapplianceisequipped
withacordhavingagroundingwirewithagroundingplug.Theplug
must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed
andgrounded.
WARNING - Improperused the groundingplugcan resultina
riskof electricshock.Consultaqualifiedelectricianorserviceman
if the groundinginstructionsare not completelyunderstood,or if
doubtexistsas towhethertheapplianceis properlygrounded.
DO NOT USE AN EXTENSION CORD
Use an exclusive wall outlet. Do not connectyour refrigeratorto
extension cords or together with any other appliance in the same
wall outlet. Do notsplice the cord.

Removeeitherthe gasket,latches,lids or doorsfrom unused
appliances,or take some other action that will guaranteeit
harmless.

Thisrefrigeratoris inclusiveof a cycledefrostsystem.
Therefrigeratorhasa cold platelocatedinbehindthe back
wallof therefrigeratorcabinet. Icebuild-uponthe backwall
duringcompressoroperationisnormal. Whenthecompressor
hascycledoff, accumulatedice willdefrostautomatically.
Defrostwaterwill collectinsidethe draintroughpassthrough
the drainoutletlocatedat the bottomof thecabinetandflJnnel
intoa drainpansituatedabovethe compressor.Thewaterwill
thenevaporatefromthistrayfromthe heatofthe compressor.
REMINDER: Keepthedrainoutletopeningclearof anyfood
particlesor otherimpediments. Thiswillensurethe watercan
funnelto the drainpanwithoutobstruction. Failureto keep
thisoutletcleanmayresultinwateroverflowingthetrough,
causingwaterto accumulateat the bottomof the refrigerator,
eventuallyleakingontoyourfloor. Pleasewipethistroughand
drainoutletwitha softclothas required.

Removeexteriorand interiorpackings,wipethe outsidethoroughly
witha softdry clothandthe insidewitha wet, lukewarmcloth. Avoid
placingthecabinetina narrowrecessor nearanyheatsource,direct
sunlight,or moisture.Letaircirculatefreelyaroundthecabinet. Keep
the rearofthe refrigerator5 inchesawayfromthe wall.
Location
1. Selecta placewitha strong,levelfloor.
2. Allow 5 inchesof spacebetweenthe backof the refrigeratorand
anyadjacentwall.
3. Avoid direct sunlightand heat. Direct sunlightmay affectthe
acryliccoating. Heatsourcesnearbywill causehigherelectricity
consumption.
4. Avoidverymoistplaces. Too muchmoisturein the airwill cause
frostto formvery quicklyon the evaporator,andyour refrigerator
will haveto bedefrostedmorefrequently.
To avoidvibration,the cabinetmustbe set level. This is accomplishedby
adjustingthe (2)frontlevelinglegslocatedunderthe refrigeratorcabinet. To
startthe refrigerator,turnthe temperaturecontrol(OFF-MAX)to the position
correspondingtothe desiredcooling.
OFF= No Cooling
1= Minimum Cooling
4 = MediumCooling
MAX= MaximumCooling
Therefrigeratortemperaturewillvarydependingonthequantityofthe
foodstoredandonthefrequencywithwhichthedoorisopened.
