Placing,,,and Installation
CHOOSING THE RIGHT PLACE
Place the appliance in a dr_ and regularly
ventilated morn. Never place _heappliance near
heat emltt[ngdevTces(eg cookingappliances,
radiators,water heaters or similar devices) and
do not expose to direct sunlight.
The appliance shouldbe positioned at least 3 cm
away from electric or gas cooking appliances
and at least 30 cm away from oil or coal tired
stoves° If this is not possible, use an appropriate
Insulation barrier..
BehInd the appliance there should be a free
space at least 200 cm=wide and above the
appliance kitchen un_ (cupboards) should be at
least 5 cm away from the appliance in order to
assure adequate ventifalion.
INSTALLATION
Race the appliance firmly on a solid base.
Some appliaqoes have adjumtablefeet on 1he
front side; use them to lewt the appliance.

GRouNDING iNSTRUCTIONS
For your personal safety, this appliance must be
grounded. In the event of a malfunclTon or
breakdown, grounding will reduce the risk of
electric shock by providinga path of least
resistance for electric current. This appliance is
equipped with a power cord having an
equipment grounding conductorand grounding
plug,, The plug must be pluggedinto an
appropriate wall outlet that is installedand
grounded In accordance with all existing focal
codes and ordinances. Consult a quaUfied
electricianor serviceman if Ihe grounding
instr_ctlons are not clearly understood, or if
doubt exisls as to whether the appliance is
properly grounded.
CONNECTION TO POWER SUPPLY
Connect the appliance powercord and plug 1oa
properly grounded wall outlet. The required
nominalvoltage and frequency are indicated on
the ratingplate {inside the unit or on the exledor
rear wall of the unit).
