The remote control allows you to define all
operational aspects of your Danby Home
Comfort Center.
CONTROL BUTTONS
Power Button: Toggles the unit on/off.
MODE: Selects the operating mode
(Dehumidifier, Humidifier, Air Purification
Dehumidifier + Purification, Humidifier +
Purification)
Fan: Alternates the fan speed between High
and Low.
: Used to adjust Humidification and
Dehumidification settings forward in
increments of 5% RH.
: Used to reduce Humidification and
Dehumidification settings in increments of
5% RH.
Timer: Allows you to initiate the auto-on or
auto-off timer. Each subsequent depression of
the Timer button with increase the timer length
in increments or 0.5hrs up to 10 hours and by
1.0hr increments up to 24 hours. The Auto-
Timer setting may be cancelled at any time by
pressing the remote control Power button.
°F/°C: Alternates the display mode of the tem-
perature between Fahrenheit and Celsius on
the display panel of the unit (only)
To operate the hand held remote control you
will require two “AAA” Alkaline batteries (includ-
ed ).
Batteries should be replaced when:
a) No signal (beep) is heard when attempting to
program the main unit.
b) The main unit does not respond to a com-
mand issued by the remote control.
Battery replacement:
1. Slide the lower front cover on the remote in
the direction of the arrow. Continue pulling (gen-
tly) until the cover separates completely from
the unit.
2. Insert (2) batteries (AAA) following the same
orientation (polarity) depicted inside the battery
chamber.(+/-)
3. Re-install the front cover.
4. If the remote control will not be used for
extended periods of time (vacations etc.), bat-
teries should be removed.
Any obstruction between the receiver and
remote may cause signal interference, limiting
the ability to program the main unit.

Quand l'appareil est éteint
(En March Auto):
1. Appuyer sur la touche Minutrie
et l'icône en marche auto ‘I'
adjecent au minutrie illuminera
(voir ci-dessus).
2. Appuyer sur les touches ou
pour choisir l’heure de mise en
marche (jusqu’a 24 heures). .
3. Choisir le MODE approprié
de fonctionnement désiré de
l’unité (Humid.–Déshumid.-
Purification D'Air).
4. Choisir le réglage de la
vitesse du ventillateur.
5. Le temps vous avez choisi
apparaîtra sur l'affichage.
Quand l'appareil est en marche

1. Appuyer sur la touche Minutrie
et l'icône arrêt auto ‘O' adjecent
au minutrie illuminera (voir ci-
dessus)
2.Appuyer sur les touches ou
pour choisir l’heure de mise en
service (jusqu’a 24 heures). .
3. Le temps vous avez choisi
apparaîtra sur l'affichage
Pour annuler le programme sim-
plement met l’appareil en
marche (annule arrêt automa-
tique), ou hors de service
(annule en marche automa-
tique).
