Occasionally, a minor problem may arise, and a service call may not be necessary - use this troubleshooting guide for
a possible solution. If the unit continues to operate improperly, call an authorized service depot or Danby’s Toll Free
Number for assistance.

Does not work • No power to unit
• Power cord is unplugged

Internal temperature

inner rear wall
• The door is not sealing properly
• The door is frequently opened of left
open too long
• The food in the refrigerator is warm
• The dish is touching the inner back wall
• Ensure the door is sealing properly
• Only open the door when necessary
• Cool food to room temperature before insert-
ing it in the refrigerator
• Ensure nothing is touching the back wall
Water is leaking from
the refrigerator
• Water pipe is clogged and defrost water
drips over the channel
• Clean the clogged pipe with a pipe cleaner
or plastic straw
Unit is vibrating or
there is a noise
• The appliance is not level or is not
installed on a fi rm solid base/fl oor
• Appliance is touching a wall or other
kitchen appliances are standing next
to it
• The accessories inside the appliance
are not installed correctly. Bottles or
cans may be touching each other caus-
ing rattling and/or vibrations
• Always make sure that the appliance is lev-
eled and installed on a fi rm solid base/fl oor
• The appliance should not touch any wall or
other kitchen appliance
• Ensure the accessories inside the appliance
are correctly installed so that they do not
touch each other causing rattling or vibra-
tions
