In order to avoid this kind of failures, we have modified sensing mode as follows:

Contact tape is welded on the tube, for assurance of perfect contact. After passage through the

hole in drum and the insulating tape, it is tucked under the contact ring.

In order to put a stop to the claims related to faulty sensing system, make use of the new

system. The procedure is the following:

- remove the cover or the worktop

- spin the drum to a position where the joint of contact ring is on top

- open the joint of contact ring

- spin the drum to a position where the rib screws are on the top

- loosen the rib screws and remove the potential collector, spring and plug

- install new potential collector (tube) (Code 581209, make use of the new holders,

Code 609855)

- bend the rib tape over the insulation ring

- close the contact ring, screw down the screws of the worktop or the cover

This modification is valid for the appliances with serial number 30130001 onward.
