WATER SOFTENER
The hardness of water varies from place to place, if hard water is used in the dishwasher, time and other mineral deposits
will form on the dishes, utensils and stainless steel tub. The water softener system on this unit is designed to eliminate/reduce
such minerals found in bard water.
Loading the Salt into the SoFtener
Remove the lower basket and unscrew and remove the cap from the salt container.
{2 if you are filling the container for the first time, fill 2/3 of its volume with water.
{3 Place the end of the salt filter (supplied) into the hole and fill with about 2kg (4 Ibs) of
salt. it is normal for a small amount of water to come out of the salt container.

NO TE: 1. The salt container must be refilled when the salt warning light comes on. Even though the salt container is full,
the indicator light may not switch off before the salt is fully dissolved.
2. if salt spillage ocurs, run a soak program to dissolve the salt crystals.
Adjusting Salt Consumpgon
Unscrew the cap from the salt container.

There is a ring on the container with arl arrow on it (see Figure to the side), if
necessary, rotate the ring in the counterclockwise direction from the "-" Sign
toward the "+" sign, based on the hardness of the water being used. it is
recommended that adjustments should be made in accordance with the following:
